Why Make a Sizzle?
A sizzle reel is the perfect format to showcase you or your project.
A sizzle is about feel and creating excitement. It can take many forms. Clients approach with a desire to sell their series, gain new members to their organization, engage potential sponsors, show proof-of-concept, spotlight product features, or highlight their talents.
Sizzle reels can be flashy, raw, serene, moving, or glossy. They can be fast-paced or left to breathe. Let the subject matter dictate the pace. Shorter is generally better, but rules are made to be broken, as you’ll see in one example.
Some projects come in fully formed. Others require scheduling a shoot, or need a script. I create graphics (animations, titles, and transitional elements), find music (create music if necessary), provide color correction, and of course edit the video.
